Japan is grooming a real monster. This 18 year old 187cm opposite is a true scoring machine. Mainly playing second fiddle to an awful 201cm slow motion opposite, he managed to rack up about 20 points off the bench playing only 2 sets against both Iran and Korea, and was ranked 10th best spiker of the tournament. His vertical is insane. His reach is 350cm.
He will very likely be the leader of the team next year and definitely a player to watch.
