Berlin Volleys - Trentino Volley (Highlights)

Team from Berlin proved to be a tough one to beat, especially with the local support. The Italian champions had already secured the first place in group D. They arrived to the German capital without of important players. Tvestan Sokolov not entered the court (in the first two sets). Emanuele Birarelli and David Szabo did not even travel with the team. The experiment did not quite give the expected results, to say the least, and the three-time European champions were completely vanquished by their hosts. Despite the relative insignificance of the match, Berlin took a perfect advantage of the weak Italians and won a prestigious straight-set victory. Robert Kromm with his 13 points was the best scorer for Berlin. Halkbank and the city of Ankara will organize the final event at the end of March. Until then,Trentino will face Noliko Maaseik in the first play-off stage in January, and Berlin will face Zenit Kazan just like in 2012/13. Now they will want to take revange on Kazan.
