Argentina in a 3:2 upset winning their second ever Olympics Volleyball medal against their South American Rival Brazil

Argentina won their second ever medal in Olympics since 1988. This is their third  bronze medal match in their Olympic history. Coming into the Bronze medal match, Argentina has been the black horse of the tournament winning USA and Italy to knock both bronze and silver medalist of the last Olympics. Brazil, despite a hard fought 2 and 3 set, lost their 4th and ultimate 5th set. This will be the first time since 2000 that Brazil came home without a medal. 

During the match Argentina out blocked Brazil 17:10, with Loser block 7 times against Brazil. Even though Brazil managed less errors and more serving wins, it's not enough to take on Argentina in this Bronze medal match.
