@Niamek: He is tall and has experience, but the only downside is that his knee has been bothering him for a long time. He has many caps for the NT, so it never hurts to call up experienced player that were on the team before. This is only the list for preparations, so he will probably not make the final roster because of the things I mentioned above.

@Niamek: what makes him good is that he has represented russia in many tournaments and played for the top teams in the world and that is how you know he is goo

Who is the best volleyball player ever?Show players ranking
Vladimir Alekno has announced the wide squad of the Russian national team that will start preparations for the European Olympic Qualifications in Berlin. There are some surprises... Head coach of Russia decided to once again call legendary Sergey Teyukhin, while Alexander Volkov returns to the national team.
On the other side, Alekno decided not to include Alexander Butko in the wide roster!
