He was the best player during the whole last club season I think, but on the other hand he can be fully prepared physically and mentally while other players like Milijkovic, Kaziyski, etc. can't afford a break due to their national teams and that changes a lot!
Juantorena didn't look good in the end of the season, while Matey, who scored even more points for Trento had to join Bulgaria as soon as possible starting from ALL World League matches.
It's hard to say then if he's the best, you would have to look into many aspects but he's damn complete and awesome player.
Of course, Osmany is one of te best players of the world nowsays. As a wing spiker he can be compared only with best brasilians Murilo and Dante. Afrer CL final 4 in Russia everyone in Russia calls Juantorena "an evil genius". Zenith's players confirm that he was the key factor of Trentino's success. His attitude and passion to the game are unrepeateble. His eyes are sparkling and he is so confident in himself, that his teammates are ready to die or win, looking on his aspiration. Osmany, you are just the BEST!!!

But in my opinion Osmany really is one of the best now. Sometimes I get the impression that he just flies and he hits the ball so hard and from outside it looks like he does it effortlessly.

but i think the best number can't say who's the best player, whit Winiarsky Trento was little more balanced and suffered less opposite serves.
