Quick News: Day 5 of Eurovolley, Poland, Turkey and the Netherlands are set to Round of 16

After a 5 set filled day, day 5 of the European championship is a very intense with Czech Republic forcing Bulgaria to 5th set decider. Poland, Turkey and the Netherlands set to Round of 16 after 3 rounds of games.

Russia continues to be a bit shaky, losing the first to Finland 25 to 22 and they have to climb back up a mountain because they need to win the other 3 sets to claim a very needed victory. Currently Russia is placed at fourth place, behind Turkey, the Netherlands and Finland. Kliuka is the best scorer of the match, scored 18 points with 16 attack at 36.3 percent attacking efficiency, one block and one ace. The next two matches for Russia, they will compete against North Macedonia and Spain.

Czech Republic nearly pulled an upset against Bulgaria. Bulgaria won the first set convincingly, 25 to 10 against Czech Republic, but then they drop two set and nearly drop the fourth set, but managed to salvage the fourth set 26 to 24 to avoid a catastrophic result for the team. Martin Atanasov is the best scorer of the match, scored 31 points with 23 attacks at 61 percent attack efficiency with only one attack being blocked, he also had 5 block points and 3 aces.

Later on 6 of September we will have France verse Germany, Nethernalnds verse Turkey, and Italy verse Bulgaria
