Axel Jacobsen (born July 10, 1984 in Necochea - Argentina) is a Danish professional volleyball player. He plays as setter for German TV Bühl.

His career started in 2001 when he signed contract with Azul Voley Club (ARG). He played there in 2001-2004. His favorite player is Luciano De Cecco. Danish setter said: "It's top level of volleyball. I would like to play like him". After spending three seasons in Azul Voley Club, he signed contract in Aarhus Volleyball. In season 2004/05, his team took 2nd place in Danish League. In the next season he played for Italian team: Pallavolo Pineto. Axel Jacobsen in years 2006-2008 played for the famous Austrian club: hotVolleys Vienna. He won two gold medals in Austrian League (Österreich Volley League) in season 2006/07 and 2007/08. The Danish setter played also in teams such like: Cream Samgas (2008/09) and Top Team Mantova Volley (2009/10). He joined the Polish team: AZS Olsztyn during season 2010/11. For most of Polish fans, he was unique player, because he always had time for them. He played 20 sets (average 1,5 in one match) in that season. Axel Jacobsen is player of TV Bühl since 2011 (contract until 2014). Denmark will play in EuroVolley 2013 against Italy, Belgium and Belarus. "It will be interesting to play against the best players like: Ivan Zaytsev, Aleh Akhrem, Dragan Travica", he said.
