On the second day of the series Finland sought another victory to consolidate their success. However, Portugal was a hard nut to crack. Finland's Lelu Ojansivu scored 17 points, Matti Oivanen and Antti Siltala added 16 points. On the press conference, Finland coach Tuomas Sammelvuo said: "I am very happy with the three points today. Our serving gave us the possibility to win this match. We were not as strong in the sideout all the time. Portugal has very good spikers and we were not able to stop them".
