Halkbank Ankara failed to claim their first victory in Group E of the Champions League after losing to Belgium’s national champions Knack Roeselare 1:3 (24:26, 19:25, 26:24, 23:25) on Wednesday afternoon at Baskent Hall in the Turkish capital. Halkbank coach Slobodan Kovac said: "We did not play well. We knew that our opponent would make very few mistakes and would display very effective services. Even though we knew what we had to do from a tactical standpoint, we did not execute our game plan. We lost discipline and this was the result in the end".
