Is balloon volleyball the new olympic sport?

Invented in 2019, balloon volleyball is a sport that is on the rise.
The rules are simple: two teams of two, a balloon ball, a field of 3 by 3 metres and a net only represented by a line drawn or placed on the ground. Then it's just like volleyball.
Thanks to a smaller field and a ball that takes much longer to reach the ground, the defences are often absurd and the exchanges incredible. The next European championships will take place at the beginning of February in Geneva (Switzerland).
The IOC is considering introducing this sport to the Olympic Games as early as 2024, as it is so popular throughout the world. Will indoor volleyball be able to survive the rise of this exceptional sport? We will know in a few years. The number of members has risen from 450 at the end of 2019 to more than 2.5 billion at the beginning of 2021.
The advantage of this sport lies in the fact that it can be played almost everywhere. The proof is in this video, filmed in January 2021. We can find there the current French world champions, P. Foucault/A. Sanchez in training against the Belgians D. Vanherreweghe/M. Pablo who are less loved by the international public because of their recurrent use of cheating.
