Fernanda Garay

Fernanda Garay Rodrigues (Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, May 10, 1986) is a Brazilian volleyball player. She is better known as Did Garay, playing with the Brazilian national team shirt 16. Gaucho, Fernanda Garay early wanted to be volleyball player. Has played for teams such as São Caetano, MRV/Minas and Pinheiros/Mackenzie and also the Brazilian national basis. His powerful attacks and their agility on the court aroused interest in important times. Accepted the proposal, then, NEC Red Rockets Team Japan, for the 2010/2011 season. This experience in Japan contributed greatly to Fernanda gain international prominence, because, as she tells it: - was the main striker of the team at that time. In 2012 Fernanda Garay is sacred Olympic champion at London 2012 playing as a wing-spiker and performing important actions such as digs in the match against the Russian National Team in Brazil that saved 6 match points.
