Lokomotiv Belgorod - AZS Olsztyn (full match, CEV Cup 2009)

Full game between Lokomotiv Belgorod and AZS Olsztyn from the CEV Cup 2008/09. Russian superstars: Sergey Tetyukhin and Vadim Khamuttskikh in action. The hosts won all sets without big problems. That was match of 1/16 finals (1st match). "From my experience I know that the potential and mental attitude are very important factors in any volleyball match. Today my players kept in their mind what they had to do in order to win the game and they did that. I'm very happy", said coach of Lokomotiv: Gennady Shipulin. The second game, which took place a week later in the Polish hall "Urania", Lokomotiv won also 3:0. Team from Belgorod promoted to Final Four of CEV Cup (they won also with Perungan Rovaniemi, GC Lamia and Beauvais Oise). Russian club was very interested in the organization of CEV Cup Final Four, but CEV decided that Panathinaikos Athens will host the Final Four of the CEV Cup 2008/09. Finally, in the final match, in front of 13 000 spectators Lokomotiv Belgorod defeated Panathinaikos Athens in four sets.
