Michał Kubiak in season 2013/14

Highlights of Michał Kubiak from last season in Plusliga and Champions League. He was on the 5th position in Polish league among the best scorers (with 418 points) and 5th place in best servers ranking with 38 aces. In 2013/2014 the club from Jastrzębie advanced to the Final Four of the Champions League in Ankara and after defeating Zenit Kazan won the bronze medal. In July 2014, a year before his contract was due to end, Kubiak turned up at the club with a request for early termination. The club agreed, and Kubiak now play for the Turkish club Halkbank Ankara. Kubiak agreed with Jastrzębski Węgiel, that after the end of the contract in Turkey, he will return to the Polish club.
