The standard dimensions of a volleyball court are:

  • Length: 18 meters (59 feet)
  • Width: 9 meters (29.5 feet)
  • Net height: 2.43 meters (7 feet 11 5/8 inches) for men's competition; 2.24 meters (7 feet 4 1/8 inches) for women's competition and co-ed recreational play.

The court is divided into two equal halves, each measuring 9 meters by 9 meters. The net runs directly down the center of the court, dividing it into two sides. The net is 1 meter (3 feet 3 3/8 inches) wide and is suspended horizontally over the center of the court.

There is also a free zone around the court that is at least 3 meters (9 feet 10 1/8 inches) wide on all sides. This free zone is used by players to move around the court and to avoid colliding with obstacles or people outside the playing area.

The boundary lines on the court are 5 centimeters (2 inches) wide, and the lines marking the center line and attack line are 5 centimeters (2 inches) wide and 10 centimeters (4 inches) wide, respectively.

It is important to note that these dimensions are the standard for indoor volleyball, and beach volleyball courts have slightly different dimensions.

Could you also include the net height of the junior level (boys and girls) games? i think there might be some interesting findings.:)

Yes it would be good to see if there are differences on the height of the net depending the countries, on the juniors level
