Pirates vs. Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson 3-0 .1.Sep.2018

Park jumped right out in front of the first set going on a 6-1 run over Lindsey Wilson. In the middle of the set, Paula de Oliveira put down a strong kill to extend Park's lead by five points. After de Oliveira's kill, the Pirates led 13-8. Park called a timeout after, Lindsey Wilson went on a 4-0 spurt. The Pirates still led 21-19, after calling a timeout. Danna Gomes was able to set up an assist for de Oliveira to do a side out kill for the Pirates to lead 22-20. The Pirates were able to claim the set 25-23.

The beginning of the second set, it was a back and fourth set. Noura Meawad put down a strong kill for the Pirates to lead the Blue Raiders 13-11. Late in the set, the Pirates went on a 4-1 run to pull ahead of the Blue Raiders. Park led Lindsey Wilson 20-23 after the run. Maren Roper put down a slide out kill for the Pirates to claim the set 25-23. Park hit for .333 while Lindsey Wilson hit for .255 in the set.

The Pirates led the Blue Raiders 9-7 after de Oliveira's solo block. Coming out of the timeout, Park went on a 9-8 spurt to lead the set 18-15. Roper had the kill that started the Pirates 4-0 run to win the set 25-18.

Noura Meawad had 12 Kills out of 28 Swings and added 9 Digs.

Nada Meawad had 11 Kills out of 31 Swings and 10 Digs ,she was named the Hampton Inn All-Classic MVP. Meawad also made the Hampton Inn All-Classic Team.
