Pirates vs MNU Pioneers 3-0. Season opener match 28.08.2018

Home and Season Opener 2018 .
Both Nada Meawad and Noura Meawad both had big nights for the fifth-ranked Park University against MidAmerica Nazarene University. The Pirates swept the Pioneers 3-0 ,(25-15, 25-4, 25-17).

Park wasted no time in the first set, to jump out to a 7-1 lead over MidAmerica Nazarene before the Pioneers called a timeout. After the timeout, the Pioneers offense put up two more points, before the Pirates went on a 5-0 spurt to lead 13-4. 
 
The Pirates went on a 7-1 run before the Pioneers called their first timeout of the set. Flint was at the line for the most significant time being able to help the Pirates extend their lead 9-2. Noura Meawad helped Park from the service line, to keep moving through the set. Rachel Dossett had a kill for the Pioneers that stopped the Pirates 14-0 run. After Dossett's kill, Park led the set 24-4. Park had the highest hitting percentage of .696 in the second set.

MidAmerica jumped out in front on a 3-0 run, before Noura Meawad put down a kill to stop the run. The Pioneers continued to hold onto the lead before Roper found the inside of the court to put the Pirates up 8-7. J The Pirates claimed the set 25-17.

Nada Meawad had 13 kills out of 22 attempts ,10 Digs and 1 Block Assist, while her sister Noura Meawad had 12 kills out of 22 attempts , she Added 8 Digs, 2 Service Aces and 1 Block Assist.
