Greece will have settle for seventh place in volleyball

The men’s Greek team defeated Turkey in five sets (3-2)

The first volleyball event of the day was an insignificant match to decide 7th and 8th place in the tournament. Greece won the fifth and definitive set after an uneventful game which lasted two hours and five minutes. The first two sets finished with the same score (25-23 to Greece). However, they then fell asleep and lost the next two sets (21-25, 23-25). Greece later woke up in the last set (15-10), achieving seventh place overall.
