Food for thought, will COVID be the end of Multi host tournaments? COVID restriction isn't easing up as quickly as we want, with quarantine, virus testing and travel restriction still in place in many countries, I think it will be difficult for the coming years for FIVB, and other volleyball federation to consider a multi country tournament that is spread around different parts of the continent. VNL changed its format to a “bubble” round robin series in one city instead of spreading the matches across countries. Personally, it is sad to see volleyball return to single host tournament as many fans would love to watch matches in their local cities. As such, will there be more single host games in volleyball again?
