Poland - Brazil (full game)

In 2006 Poland returned to the world Volleyball elite by winning a silver medal in the World Championships 2006. It was their best performance since 1974. In the final match Poland was under big pressure. Brazil was mentally stronger and had more experience. Libero of Polish NT: Piotr Gacek was injured (24:00). After that injury he was replaced by Michał Bąkiewicz. Most of fans think that it was the best Brazilian team in the history. You can see there how fast is their game. One of the reasons of their success was play of Ricardo and Giba. Ricardo showed his top level skills. After semi-final against Bulgaria Polish volleyball players became idols of Polish people. Everybody was talking about them. That was the effects of Lozano's work. National team players could to prepare just for World Championship. In the World League 2006 team picked up experience from tough games, just not qualifying for World League final. Style of Lozano work weren't usual, some decisions were controversial. One of the unusual decision was elimination of three players before European Championship 2005, because of visit in night club (Krzysztof Ignaczak, Łukasz Kadziewicz and Andrzej Stelmach).
