Resovia Rzeszów and Skra Bełchatów had their own "dance with the devil" in this competition, but Resovia was the one who won. The most exciting quarter-final in Polish League for 9 years. Resovia won twice in Rzeszów, then Skra won both games in Bełchatów and Resovia was better in the last fifth match.
