Russia - Germany (full match)

World Champs 2014: Russia won their match against Germany in three sets. Despite committing a lot of errors (22) during the whole match, the superiority of Russia in the areas of serve and blocking gave the victory to the Olympic champions. This is the fifth victory for Russia against Germany in six matches at the World Championships. Germany won only once. Russia Captain Sergey Makarov said:
"We’re very happy for the victory and gaining 3 points. In the first two sets we won easily, we had some problems in 3rd and made some mistakes. The coach of Germany made also some provocation with video verification challenge, it was after serve of Grozer, 2nd referee showed out, but coach Haynen asked him to see it once again. I think that such situation shouldn’t happen again. Now we need to prepare for next matches. We wish German team good luck".
