Korea took advantage of their strong blocking Sunday afternoon to record their first win at the Women's World Cup 2015. Bouncing back from a 3-0 opening loss to the United States on Saturday, Korea improved to 1-1 with the 25:19, 25:18 and 25:18 victory over Peru, who slipped to 1-1. It was Korea’s fourth straight win over Peru in the FIVB women’s World Cup. Yang Hyo-jin led Korean scorers with 14 and Lee Jaeyeong and Kim Yeon-Koung added 12 and 8 points respectively.
