Quick news: Eurovolley M Day 4 Russia edged out Netherlands in a slim margin.

Eurvolley men's game is bubbling as we have a few five set matches on the fourth match day of the game. In Pool A, we have the battle of the Poland Serbia match, where Poland won in the fifth set in overtime. In Pool C, we have Netherlands taking Russia in a fifth set decider, where Russia barely edges out the Netherlands. At last in Pool D we have Estonia winning Slovakia in five, after bring on Renee Teppan on to the Opposite position and moving Oliver Venno to the outside hitting position and Croatia a hard fought battle against Lativa, 31 to 29 in the fourth to Croatia into the decider.

A quick recap of day 3 competition, Slovenia shockingly lost to Czech Republic in four sets. Only hitting at around 33.333 efficiency with less blocks and less ace than Czech Republic. Czech Republic has had stunned well know teams in the European championship, France in plays off in the 2017 edition of European Championship.

Russia edged out Netherlands in the pool phase of the games, after a shocking lost against Turkey. Russia dominated in first set, taking it 25 to 13. However, Netherlands took the second set quiet handily, 19 to 25 against Russia. Russia and Netherland were quite tight in the third and fourth set, each took it by 25 to 21. Ultimately, Russia edged out in the fifth set, pulling out a 3 point lead. The best scorer is no doubt Nimir Abdel- Aziz, scorer 32 points, with 28 attacks at 43.8 percent efficiency with 1 blocks and 3 ace. The dynamic duo from Russia Dmitry Volkov and Egor Kliuka scored a total of 41, however they are not as efficient as Nimir, especially Kliuka only hitting at 15.6 percent efficiency. 

Poland and Serbia put on a show and a potential Gold medal match decider in the pool phase. The Reigning European champions, Serbia, lost in 5, after a very tight match up against World Champions. Poland puts Kamil Seneniuk in the fifth set of the game instead of Kubiak and scored very efficiently against Serbia. The top scorers  in the match is Poland's Kurek and Serbia's Kovacevic, both scored 22 points. Kurek scored 18 attacks at 28.2 percent efficiency, with 3 blocks and one ace and Kovacevic scored 19 attacks at 32.5 percent efficiency, with 3 blocks. Poland just over all slightly edge out Serbia in all department, and this is the reason why Poland won this game.

Estonia struggled a lot in this tournament, after losing 3 to 1 against Latvia, which they have beaten 3 set to 0 two times earlier in the European league. Four of their outside hitter struggled to score and hit efficiently, Tammearu score 3 points in attack with 3 errors, Taht scored 6 points with 5 errors, Kollo scored 2 points with 3 errors and Hurt scored 3 points with 5 errors in the game against Latvia. Estonia struggles in the first 2 set, with Oliver Venno taking most of the load in the game, as Hurt continues to struggled through the outside hitting position, coach Enard decided to put Venno through the outside hitting position and put Teepan as the opposite. The best scorer of the match is Oliver Venno with 22 points, 16 attack in 20 percent efficiency and 6 aces with 4 of the 6 aces in the fourth set. Slovakia played a very good game against Estonia, but ultimately made too many mistake in the fifth set.

Never expected the Netherlands to have such a game against Russia. Really surprised me in a good way actually.

@J.P. Same, but watching Russia play on court, the energy level is awful.
