- No salary so need to find work
- Non EU players need a permit to play (and stay in the country for >3 months)

Uppsala is a great place to live and play volleyball. Unfortunately a mismanaged club for internationals, you will need to work, and there won’t be assistance to find this, contracted promises won’t be followed through on without you actively requesting what you have agreed to. Coaching work is poorly paid and under appreciated by management. Talk of connections to future opportunities in higher leagues should be questioned. Medical attention can take weeks to occur for injuries. Rent must be paid and is due to a member of management who didn’t disclose this until after arrival.
