He is known to be a rich and influent character in the volleyball world. Almost of all of Rennes' transfers are being made by his son who is agent of a lot of players. It seems nice but a lot of person seem to be disliking them and they are acting only for their personnal business (his son Georges transfers his own players in Rennes with obviously the agreement of his father without any consent of the club or the president). So they make a lot of money behind Rennes' back by sending his own players wherever and whenever he wants, without any moral code. I hope this is clear. Also, Georges was involved in the financial problems that Paris Volley had a few years ago.
Yep. I hope yet that they won't play CEV Cup, it would be a terrible idea for their finance. They should be reasonable in the first years of reconstruction.
Montpellier will play CEV Cup anyway because they finished 2nd. Chaumont will play Challenge Cup because they finished 4th, except if Rennes is not allowed or refuses to play CEV Cup, they could take their spot.
