More info: https://go.volleyball.world/home?ytv=d The Japan men's national volleyball team represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches. Japan won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, followed by silver at Mexico 1968 and a gold at Munich 1972. The years after this have been less successful. Japan missed three successive Olympic Games before returning at Beijing 2008, where they failed to win a match. Japan then failed to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games and also missed Rio 2016 after finishing seventh at the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo. They also failed to qualify for the 2014 FIVB World Championship the first edition they had missed in 54 years. They had previously won FIVB World Championship bronze medals in 1970 and 1974. Japan silver medalists at the 1969 and 1977 World Cup. Japan has been less successful in the World League era. The team has won the Asian Championships nine times and the Asian Games eight times. m88axe ·China have the Asian Games now looming in Jakarta in August and coach Raul Lozano will be no doubt hoping the experience of playing against the world's best nations will have fine-tuned the likes of wing spiker Libin Liu and middle blocker Shuhan Rao. The best player for the China team was the impressive opposite spiker Chuan Jiang from Beijing can proudly walk away from the pool stages of the inaugural VNL as the tournament's leading points scorer with 272 points. Bulgaria coach Plamen Konstantinov said: "Some of my players are injured and I could only rely on one player, which was really hard. Italy in Volleyball Nations League 2018
Team from Italy is out of Final Round in VNL 2018. Italy still had a chance of qualifying for the final 6 but after Poland beat Australia it was mathematically impossible. Italy finish the round robin in 8th position which is way below what they would have been expecting from their 15 matches and with a home World Championships to come later this year they will be looking to raise their level significantly if they are to match the heights of 2016 when they finished up Olympic silver medallists.0 3081 -

Throughout the years, Sada, the company based in Betim, Minas Gerais, has become responsible for managing the "Club", and in 2008 the "Associação Social e Esportiva Sada" was created. In 2009 the partnership with Cruzeiro Esporte Clube, a traditional Brazilian football club was formalized, and the team gained one of the largest volleyball fan-bases in the country driven by Cruzeiro's about eight million supporters. They compete in the Brazilian Superliga and were the champions in the 2011/12, 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons. In 2012, 2014 and 2016 won the South American Championship. Sada Cruzeiro is the only Brazilian volleyball club to ever win the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship.0 7326

m88axe ·The United States are entering a fourth season under head coach John Speraw. They won bronze at the 2015 World League. In 2014, they defeated arch-rivals Brazil in the World League final in Florence, the second time they have topped the podium at the tournament. However, it was a different story at the 2014 World Championship, where they missed out on the third round by two points and were ranked joint-seventh overall. In 2013 the USA team took the gold medal in the NORCECA Championship, finished 12th in the World League and fifth in the World Grand Champions Cup.

Serbia Road to World League 2016 Final Six
Despite their undeniable success in the World League, Serbia are yet to take the title. Between 2003 and 2009 they appeared in four finals and lost on each occasion. In 2003, 2005 (both times participating as Serbia and Montenegro) and 2009 their tormentors were Brazil, while in 2008 the United States beat them 3-1. Several standout players earned individual awards during this era, including Ivan Miljkovic, who remains the only player to be named the World League's MVP four times. Serbia’s performance dipped in 2011 and 2012 when they finished both editions in ninth place. They made a slight improvement when they placed eighth and sixth in 2013 and 2014, respectively. They bounced back in 2015 as they entered the Final Six and won silver.0 2750 -

Brazil Road to World League 2016 Final Six
During the Bernardo 'Bernardinho' Rezende’s 15-year tenure as coach, Brazil have at times seemed unstoppable, collecting numerous trophies. Rezende led the team to the 2001 World League title in his first outing and Brazil claimed the competition in successive years from 2003 to 2007. The Brazilians won back-to-back World League titles again in 2009 and 2010, three successive titles at the World Championship (2002, 2006, 2010) and two at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Cup (2003 and 2007). As hosts, they are automatically qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.0 2901 -
