Russian Cup 2013/14

After yesterday’s victory against Ural Ufa, Zenit Kazan advanced to the semi-final of Russian Cup 2013. It was three sets game (25:20, 25:20, 25:19). There teams are already in Final Four of Russian Cup: Dynamo Moscow, Gazprom Yugra Surgut and Belogorie Belgorod.

Zenit Kazan won 6 matches in the preliminary round of the Russian Cup 2013. They lost game against Kuzbass Kemerovo and Nizhnevartovsk. Zenit with 18 points took 1st place in group C (1. Zenit Kazan, 2. Perm, 3. Nizhnevartovsk, 4. Kemerovo, 5. Oka Kaluga). Russian Federation has decided that final six of national cup will be placed in Belgorod. That means Belogorie, as a host, automatically secured a spot at the last round and is now waiting for the names of the opponents. And they will be the four winners of semifinal groups, and one which will receive a wild card. Semi-finals look like this. Group A (Ufa): Ural Ufa, Dynamo Krasnodar, Yaroslavl Yaroslavich, Lokomotiv Ekaterinburg; Group B (Kazan): Zenit Kazan, Dynamo Moscow, Prikamie Perm, Samotlor Nizhnevartovsk; Group C (Surgut): Nizhny Novgorod, Gazprom Surgut, Iskra Odintsovo, Dorozhnik Krasnoyarsk; Group D (Moscow): Lokomotiv Novosibirsk, Fakel Novy Urengoy, Tyumen, Dynamo Leningrad.
