Wilfredo_is_Marshall ·One of the best volleyball players in the history of the sport. Ivan played in the national team of Yugoslavia national team for the first time on October 4, 1998 in a game against Turkey. In 2000 in Sydney the Yugoslav national team (members of which were also Vladimir Grbić, Nikola Grbić, Andrija Gerić, Goran Vujević) won the Olympic gold medal. In the final match against Russia Ivan Miljković scored the last point and after that fell on his knees. After this success he changed his club and started playing for Italian Lube Banca Macerata. In 2001 the Yugoslav team won the European Volleyball Championship in Ostrava. With his club, Lube Banca Macerata, he also won the Champions League (2001), twice the Italian Cup (2001, 2003) and three times the CEV Cup (2001, 2005, 2006). On July 18, 2007, he signed a contract with the M. Roma Volley. The following year, on July 5, 2008, Olympiacos, announced that he will be continuing his career in Greece. In 2009 he won the Greek Championship and the Greek Cup and in 2010 the championship. On June 30, 2010, he signed a two-year contract with Fenerbahçe Istanbul. In March 2012, has officially retired from the Serbian National Team after 14 years and 288 played matches. "This is a definite end. Fadhel Abbas ·Bartosz Kurek (born August 29, 1988 in Wałbrzych) is one of the best Polish players, European Champion 2009. On September 14, 2009 he was awarded The Order of Polonia Restituta. The Order was conferred on the following day by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk. Kurek began his career in a team from Nysa (2004-2005) where he played with his father (Adam Kurek was setter), then he moved to Kedzierzyn-Kozle (2005-2008). He played for Skra Bełchatów from 2008-2012, where he won both Championship and Polish Cup for the season 2008/2009. In the Champions League 2011/12, Kurek won the Best Spiker award, and the silver medal, playing with Skra Bełchatów and after that season he moved to Russian Dynamo Moscow. Kurek in match between Iskra and Dynamo in second round of Russian Superliga sprained his ankle. After that injury he wasn't so effective in Russian Superliga and Champions League. In season 2013/14 he will play for the first time in Italy (Lube Banca Macerata). Bartosz Kurek played with the Polish squad who won the Bronze Medal of the 2011 FIVB World League, winning also the Best Scorer award. More recently, Kurek played on Gold Polish team from the 2012 FIVB World League, winning also the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.2 9000
