Poland in World League 2012 (Katowice, Highlights)
Next movie about World League 2012 Intercontinental round in Katowice. The best actions in tournament Polish volleyball team. Poland won in Katowice with Brazil 3:2 and took 1st place in tournament. During the last day of this round, Poland and Brazil made a piece of an art. Finally, hosts gave a great gift to excited fans. In tie-break Poland was strongly a better team. They got advantage and they didn't let it go till the end. Zbigniew Bartman (who scored 26 points) finished this game and over 11 thousand fans in Spodek Hall went really crazy. Captain of Polish NT, Marcin Mozdzonek said: "Another great day for us - we got two points and we lead in the standings - these were our goals. This match was very enjoyable and exciting. Unfortunately there was a lot of mistakes on both sides. In the second set Brazil served very well. We stood by our system. We had a moment when we lost our concentration, but fortunately we got over it. What's most important we proved that no matter who is on the court we still play as a team. It doesn't matter who is in the starting line-up. This match gave us more confidence, we know that we are going the right way. Poland - USA (World League 2012 - Final Six)
One of the best moments in Polish volleyball history: Polish NT victory against USA in World League 2012. For the first time in history, Poland was a participant of the final. This gold is the second Polish medal in World League. The game with USA was short, but beautiful. Both teams were playing well, but Polish team won all sets. During first part Marcin Możdżonek got a little injury. After that injury he was replaced by another middle-blocker: Grzegorz Kosok. Andrea Anastasi (coach of Poland NT): "I am really happy. It is the first gold medal for Poland in the World League and for me, as a coach, this is important". Marcin Możdżonek (captain of Poland NT): "I am happy, it is a historical moment for all of us. We won against USA - one of the best teams in the world. I hope we will continue playing this way".1 7607 -

Poland - Bulgaria (World League 2012 Final Six)
During those three sets, Bulgaria made 27 mistakes, when Poland gave their rival 20 "free" points. Andrea Anastasi made a change in the basic squad of Poland, by replacing Łukasz Żygadło by Paweł Zagumny, who played well with Brazil earlier. However, this setter had some problems too. On Bulgarian site Georgi Bratoev was not doing well. Bulgaria had a big heart to fight, but their skills were not developed enough to win this game. Poland advanced to the final of World League for the first time in the history. Captain of Poland (Marcin Możdżonek) said: "We are very happy with this victory. It is the first semi-final in the World League that we have won, so we are very excited and we cannot wait for tomorrow. It is a historical moment for all of us. His son has quite similar behaviour on the court like him ;-) Grozer was a sensation of Play-off's round of Plusliga 2011/12. Skra haven't won Champion's title for the first time for 8 years. Grozer was their real killer. He was best player of three matches won by Resovia Rzeszów. After second game in the final it was known that he won't stay in Poland and he will play in Russian Belgorod in season 2012/13. After one season in Russia he extended the contract for two years (he will play to 2015 year for Belogorie Belgorod).1 6723

Guys of Vladimir Alekno played great volleyball. Russia won the World League after long 9 years, its the second World league trophy for the Russian team. Let's celebrate one more time with Vladimir Alekno and his players. See amazing video with only the best players in the world. Russia was the best team of this edition of World League losing only one game in a group. Murilo didn't have his day and Giba couldn't do miracles by himself. Brazil won the first set, but after the change of Russian setters the match was fully in the hands of Russian team. The Best Spike Competition in Nysa
