Matt Anderson is one of the best volleyball players from the United States. Matt or Matthew started his career at the Penn State Nittany Lions After two seasons he decided to go play at the Hyundai Capitals. In the Year 2008 he also won the Pan America Games with the National team of USA. That was his first big title for the national team. with the Hyundai Capitals he also won the silver media at the South Korean Championship. After that year he moved to Vibo Valentia and next to Casa Modena. in 2012 he started his to play for the big Zenit Kazan and became winning lots of prices. With Zenit kazan he won 2 times the russian championship and 3 Russian Cups. He also won 2 times the champions league by dominating the other teams. They were just no match for the big Zenit Kazan. In the world they had only one big opponent. Sad Cruzeiro beat two times the champion of Russia en Europe in the world championsship for clubteams. In the National team Matt Anderson had also a lot of succes in 2012 he won the silver medal at the FIVB World League. And in 2014 he won the gold medal with a complete new squat were he was the big player. together with new stars like Holt, Sander and Christenson they defeated the Brazilians. In the 2015 he won the bronze medal at the world league and they won the gold medan at the FIVB World League. In 2016 they didn’t reach the final of the olympic games but they gettered the Bronze Medal. So matt anderson has a very impressive career with lots of titles. Most people know anderson about the big tattoo his got on his shoulder. The Tattoo on his wrist is an honor to his nephew Tristin who has autism. He also has a tattoo of his father who passes away in january 2010. In 2014 he asked for a termination of the contract with Zenit Kazan because of depression. During her youth she played for the nationals teams. Germany was her first adventure outside the Netherlands. She has done a great job there for several clubs. Bartosz Kurek is one of the best opposite hitters in the world of volleyball. At the moment he plays for Resovia Rzeszow and the Polish national Team. Kurek started his professional volleyball career at AZS PWSZ Nysa. After one year Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle signed the very talented wing spiker. In 2008 he moved to Skra Belchatow and played himself in the picture of the volleyball world. He became famous by his hard 3 spikes and his passion for the game. after 4 years he moved to Dynamo Moskwa but that wasn’t his best year. after one year already he moved to Lube Banca Marche Macerata and became one of the best opposite hitters in the Italian competion. now, in 2015, he became the opposite hitter for resovia where he plays an very important roll to the champions ship of poland and to win the champions league for resovia this year

We've seen some amazing matches in the champions league this year. Incredible actions big wins and also some bad loses. The best teams qualified for the final stage in Krakow. The host of this year is Asseco Resovia RZESZÓW. They will play the first semi final against the winners of the last champions league Zenit Kazan. This match will be a very interesting match because this was also the final of last year. Zenit Kazan won the match with 3 against 0, Wilfredo Leon was on fire. The other Semi Final is Trentino Diatec against Cucine Lube Civitanova. These two italian teams have a lot of Champions league History. Trentino won the champions league three times in a row, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Under head coach stoychev they were undefeatable. These where the years of Matey Kazyiski and Osman Juantorena. The last player plays now at Lube Civitanova and is still a very important player. Cucine Lube Civitanova is the winner of the poule fase in the Italian league and is also the winner of the champions league of 2002. Trentino has a young and ambitious team with players like gianelli, Nelli and Lanza. Together with the player on fire Tiny Urnaut they could be a big surprise this year. Lube Civitanova has a very experincied team with volleyball legend Ivan Miljkovic and William Reid Priddy. Together with the best libero in the world Jenia Grebennikov and serve cannon Osmany Juantorena they should win against trentino. But never say never in the final four. Asseco Resovia RZESZÓW Played last year against Zenit Kazan in the final. They had no change to win the match against the power of kazan. This year they play in their home country and have a big vantage with their home crowd. With big Players like Bartosz Kurek and Fabian Drzyga they have a big change to look for a surprise agains Zenit Kazan. Zenit Kazan is the big favorite to also win the champions league this year. The squad is almost the same and the players are in top shape. We play in the second division of the Netherlands and our opponent Olhaco is now number 3 in the first division. So we beat a team from a higher level and went to the next round. And the Serbian squat won also the Silver Medal. Atanasijevic started his professional carreer at Partizan Belgrade. After 2 seasons at this club Skra Belchatow noticed him and offered him a contract. With Skra Belchatow he became polish champion and won the bronze medal at the world champions in qatat. after these great years Aleksandar Atanasijević went to Sir Safety Perugia were he stll plays.

Wilfredo Leon - Вильфредо Леон Wilfredo Leon Venero is a volleyball player from Cuba. Wilfredo Leon started playing volleyball since he was 7, his mom was his first coach. In may 24, 2008 he made his debuted in the national team of Cuba. He was only 14 years old and 10 months. Wilfredo Leon won a year later the title of best receiver in the World League of 2009. Wilfredo Leon won the bronze medal at the World League in sofia in 2012. Because of the stupid Cuban rules (Players that don’t play in the national league may not play for the National team, it is also forbidden to play outside the cuban competition). Wilfredo Leon fled the country together with Yandri Diaz. Because of this they may not play anymore for the cuban team. I think, as writher of the this article, that cuban could won the World league if they didn’t had this stupid rule. Excellent volleyball players like Wilfredo Leon, Roberlandy Simon, Angel Denis, Yoandry Leal, Osmany Juantorena, Leonell Marshall, Oreol Camejo and Leonardo Leyva Martinez can’t play for the Cuban National team. On July 14, 2015 he received Polish citizenship. He has shown the desire to play in the polish national team Poland men's national volleyball team.

The European Championship 2015 was an incredible tournament with lots of surprises. In Group A the Dutch defeated Germany in an very interesting match. Coach Vital Heynen was accused to lose with purpose so they won't face Poland in the quarterfinal. In Group B World League winner France became group leader and Italy and Estonia also qualified for the next round. In Group C World Champion Poland became the group winner and Belgium became second. Slovenia won only one match but this wasn't their last match. In Group D were no surprises Russia was the winner of the Group and Serbia took the second place. Finland qualified as last one in Group D. In the playoff round were already some suprises. Andrea Giani's Slovenia beat in fast match easily the Netherlands. Also Serbia managed to win 2 sets against Serbia with superstar Alexander Atanasijevic. But Serbia won the last set so they qualified for the next round at the European Championship 2015. In the last match in the playoff round Germany won with 3-0 against Belgium. The quarterfinals had the biggest suprises of the last great championships. France beat Serbia with 3-0 against zero. Earvin N'Gapeth was on fire and in the movie at 1:58 you see some incredible saves by Ngapeth. In the match Poland Slovenia. Slovenia made a big suprise. Poland could not with win from Slovenian players with Urnaut and Gasparini on fire. Slovenia beat Poland with 2 against 3. In the other quarterfinal Italy defeated the big Russians with 3 against 0. Italy has a lot of spiking power with Ivan Zaytsev and the jump serve hero Osmany Juantorena. In the last quarterfinal host Bulgaria defeated Germany with 3-0. This was very satisfying for a lot of volleyball fans. In the semifinals host Bulgaria couldn't win against the France team. The France didn't play the best volleyball but they survived the semifinals. In the other semifinals Slovenia surprised again. They defeated the Italian squad with 3-1. The great tactics of Giani worked and Zaytsev and Juantorena couldn't play their favorite game. Slovenia couldn't make an other suprise in the final. Antonin Rouzier and Earvin N'Gapeth were on fire and they defeated Slovenia in an very interesting match with 3-0. The last point was a no look smash bij (off course) N'Gapeth. Anthonin Rouzier became the MVP of the tournament and Urnaut the best spiker.

Ivan Zaytsev is one of the best italian volleyball players and one of the best opposites in the world at the moment. Ivan Zaytsev plays at the moment at the russian volleyball club Dinamo Moscow. Ivan Zaytsev is a much discussed players, sometimes in the good way and sometimes for bad incidents. At the last world league tournament The Italian Federation had expelled Ivan Zaytsev, Dragan Travica, Giulio Sabbi and Luigi Randazzo because they broke a rule. But Ivan Zaytsev isn't only a bad volleyball player, he is also one of the best opposites in the world. In 2013 he was the best outside spiker in the FIVB World league and in the same year he was the best server at the CEV European Championship. In 2014 he was individually a less outstanding player but with the Italian team he conquered a bronze medal at the FIVB World league and he won the Italian Championsship with Lube Banca Macerata. The last two seasons (2014/2015 - 2015/2016) he signed a contract at Dinamo Moscow and in his first season he won the CEV Cup and with the italian squat he won the silver medal at the World Cup and they qualified already voor the Olympic Games in Brasil. We hope to see many incredible spikes and serves by italian legend Ivan Zaytsev.

These historical World league finals were very suprising. Brazil didn't make it to the finals neither did Poland reach the finals. The suprising French who came from Group 2 did it astonishing good and played very strong. With playmaker N'Ggapeth the French were extremely good. But you could see that you never can win a final with only 1 good player. Credits were also for Tille, Le Roux, Grebennikov, Rouzier, Toniutti. These 7 players were no match for the Serbian squad in the final. They defeated the the squad of legend Nikola Grbić.

Beach volleyball has become one of the greatest summer sports in world. At the last olympics the americans dominated the olympics with a gold and silver medal for misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh against Jennifer Kessy and april Ross. In the mens final Brink and Reckermann won against the brasilian favorites Alison Cerutti and legend Emanuel Rego. But the beach volleyball changed after the olympic games of 2012. New players became better and better on the beach volleyball court. The Dutch lead up very good beach volleyball players after Nummerdor and Schuil. The duo Brouwer and Meeuwsen won the last world championship in Stare Jablonki against the brazilians Ricardo Santos and alvaro morals Filho. The chinese beach volleyball players Xue Chen and Zhang Xi won against Karla Borger and Britta Buthe. In a few weeks the next world championship wil be played in The Netherlands. from 26 june till 5 juli the best volleyball players play against each other at beautifull beach stadiums. The Final wil be played in The Hague in front of the cruise ship the SS rotterdam. The Dutch are very excited to organise this tournament because it could give the volleyball world in holland a big boost. The dutch are also a big favorite to become world champion. Brouwer and Meeuwsen are still nr 1 ranked in the world but also Nummerdor and Varenhorst have a big change to win the title at the men. But also the brasilians have very good teams like Evandro and Pedro, Ricardo and Emanuel and Alison and Bruno. It will be very excited at the mens courts. In the womans poule the surprising canadians are number 1 and two ranked in the world, it are the teams Broder and Valjas and Bansley/Pavan. But the brasilians have also very big teams like Agatha/Barbara, Larissa/Talita and Lili/Carol Maximo. But never forget the Dutch they have Meppelink and Van Iersel who will do everything to win the title in front of their home crowd.
