Let me be completely clear: deliberately spamming the database with unverified information to "test" the moderation team is a direct violation of Volleybox guidelines. You were denied every time because the moderation system works, and we caught you breaking the rules.

Consider this your final warning. Any further deliberate submission of unverified transfers or rumors will result in immediate restrictions on your account.

I did not enter the Thiago Vaccari transfer. On Volleybox, when the user account that originally submitted an entry is deleted, the system automatically defaults to displaying the name of the moderator who approved it. That is exactly what you are seeing here.

When a moderator is reviewing and processing thousands of submissions from across the globe, one or two unverified links slipping through the approval queue is a normal human oversight. I have gone ahead and deleted that transfer as well, so thank you for bringing it to my attention.

However, do you know what is not normal?

What is not normal is being explicitly warned by a moderator in your direct messages about the site's sourcing rules, yet persistently continuing to submit unverified rumors day after day, only to watch them get rejected and deleted every single time.

The criteria are not selective; they are standard across the database. As I said before, once the official announcements are made, you are welcome to submit them. Until then, unverified submissions will continue to be rejected.

@HectorAzevedo You actually highlighted the exact reason for this policy in your own message. If a transfer is not legally or officially authorized to be made public until September or October, then it has absolutely no place on a public database in March.

If waiting for clubs to actually announce their own players means the website stays "empty of info" until the fall, then the system is working exactly as intended. Volleybox prefers to be empty of rumors rather than full of unverified gossip.

You can try to frame this as tyranny, a power trip, or xenophobia if it makes you feel better about having your edits removed. However, throwing buzzwords around does not grant anyone an exemption from the rules. Enforcing a global policy equally across all leagues whether they are Italian, Polish, Turkish, or Brazilian is the exact opposite of xenophobia.

I am glad you have realized that unverified entries will not be tolerated. When those official announcements finally do happen later this year, you are more than welcome to add them to the database with the proper links.

Until then, the rules stand for everyone.

Volleybox is a factual, statistical database. It is not a rumor mill, a fan forum, or a place for predictions, regardless of how closely you follow the daily news of your team.

To be absolutely clear: "knowing" a transfer is going to happen because of how the local market works is not a fact. A fact is an official announcement from the club, the player, or the agency. Until one of those three sources publicly confirms the deal, it remains a rumor.

This policy is not about "killing your vibe" or being authoritative; it is about maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the entire database. We apply this standard globally, and the Brazilian leagues are not exempt from it.

Your additions were deleted because they violated this core rule. Going forward:

Do not add any transfer or extension without a link to an official source.

Any future entries added based on "insider knowledge" or unconfirmed news will be deleted immediately.

Repeatedly ignoring these rules and re-adding unverified data will result in restrictions on your account.

Please channel your passion for your team into updating the database with verified, officially confirmed information.

Maybe "Last 5 Years Ranking" would be added to players' ranking section.

@mzaratem I totally agree with you. I'm not really a fan of prediction games anyway. So, if everyone agrees, global moderators shouldn't be allowed to join the games.

Hey! Wow, that's a tough spot, and it's a super common problem in volleyball. Honestly, I agree with you. I'd go with the taller player.

Here’s my take:

You pretty much said it yourself "it's hard to make yourself taller." That's the key. The middle blocker position is all about height and being a physical presence at the net. The shorter player has a physical problem. If her spikes and blocks are hitting the net, there's almost nothing you can do to fix that. It just means she's probably not suited for that position. The taller player has a mental problem. She's got the "monster blocks" but her head is elsewhere, right? She's unfocused, out of position, and trying to play everyone else's ball. But here's the thing: You can fix mental. You can't fix short. It's the coach's job to get her to focus, to drill her on her job (which is NOT receiving the OH's ball!), and to teach her the game. It takes patience, but that's what practice is for, especially in a U19 team where you're all still learning. The shorter player might be a great athlete, but maybe she'd be a better Libero or DS. The taller one has the physical gifts for a middle, she just needs the coaching to catch up. So yeah, I think you're spot on. Stick with the taller player and work on her focus.

Spammers now are using verified players, coaches etc. and there is no report button for them.
