- for unlogged users it depends on the geolocation of the user, then on the rank of the tournament
- for logged users it depends on the frequency of opening transfers from a given tournament, then it depends on the user's geolocation, then on the rank of the tournament

Validation rule have been redefined. Now for a beach volleyball it checks if two matches between same teams have been played at the same time (not at the same day as it is in a case of indoor volleyball).
I will be able to respond to the issues you mentioned after completing two tasks: newsfeed personalisation and asking for a recommendations.

Regarding 3rd point: no, they won't be automatically changed, but if it is really needed it can be changed manually. There's a plan to display 10 next seasons instead of 1 in the Ending seasons dropdown lists (so maximum possible value will be 2031/32 instead of 2021/22).
@pedeshtrian problems reported in your post have been already fixed:
- Three partnerships with years range 2012-2013, 2014-2014 & 2015-2016 will be merged automatically into the one: 2012-2016 now (there was 53 such situations in the database already and they have been fixed by a script)
- differences between ranking points presented in the popup window and in the ranking points on the page have been resolved.
Of course sometimes there could be still a little differences, because in the popup there are always “fresh” results and points on the page are refreshed only once a day. But you know it ?

That's a very good idea. I was also thinking about it, but i'm my opinion the most important part is summing up the results and showing statistics. That's the information which volleyball fans are looking for very often and which is mentioned frequently by a volleyball commentators.
Getting list of matches of two specific teams from the db would be an easy task. The most difficult part is where this feature should be placed on the website.
- New sub-category on the main menu, something like “Teams battles”
Probably no one will find it and even if someone will find it, they won't understand what's the purpose of that. People don't know the structure of the website (I am talking regularly with some users who are using Volleybox since ~ 8 years and they don't know ~50% of the features). “If they worked together” sub-category was opened 106 times this year. People don't know that such feature exists on Volleybox, I'm pretty sure about it. - Hovering a score:
Probably few people will discover that feature.
Showing it after hovering a score can be irritating for someone. - From my perspective the most intuitive would be showing autocompleter for choosing opposite team (like on the screenshot below).
It causes another problem: most of users would like to see matches from all seasons (not only from the currently chosen). Probably list of the seasons should be hidden automatically in that case. I'm not sure about that solution also.

@sitenoise most of the rounds have assigned sorting number (which is not visible for moderators currently, it should be shared with you somehow). Rounds are ordered by this number, then by a name.
Is it possible to order them by date?
Which date should be assigned to the round? Minimum date of all matches in that round? There could be few months difference between dates of matches on the same round (especially in COVID times). It could cause a mess, let's suppose that date of first match of “regular season - 4th round” will be less than date of first match of “regular season - 3rd round”. In that case 4th round would be displayed before the 3rd round.
Probably setting sorting number not globally, but locally on specific tournaments would solve that problem. For now there are ~30 tasks with higher priority than this one.
As I see match between these two teams already exists in database for the same day (2021-01-23):

And the “Won Tournaments” is kind of silly without details. It's a row of icons that tell you nothing (except that there's either a bunch of them there or none, which tells you something).
I understand that modern design experts are afraid or text, but putting small pics that tell you nothing in a row might be modern but it is not helpful.

@VolleyTurco transfers mentioned by you are for 2021/22 season and there is separated page for that.
For now there isn't “postponed” tag for matches.
The best solution would be changing date of matches just like @Dorien does.
