@stifler93: Your statement is not supported by stats. He played a lot with MB's at ECH 2011 and he played a lot with MB's vs Halkbank

@raylight: Okay, so he has one tournament and a match of this year to support your stats... All of the other tournaments you can see that really well.

@stifler93: Ha has progress in last year, that is the idea. He also had some important games in which the MB's were very succesfull for example vs Russia in 2007 World Cup or vs Italy in 2009 ECH. Don't forget our MB's traditionally are not very dangerous in attack

@raylight: Yes but we are talking about taking the place of Bratoev, not that he's the best setter in the world, but Zhekov has few good matches with MB's and that's not a game changer. And I beg to differ about our MB's attack, especially Nikolay Nikolov and partly Yosifov... True that Todorov isn't that good in attack but the very chemistry between Zhekov and MBs simply does not exist.

@stifler93: Zhekov has proved that he can set to the MB' so the lack of chemistry must be a way to say that he does not prefer to use them in every tournament? When he decides, he uses them pretty well

@stifler93: He is technically superior to Bratoev in almost every aspect - back jump sets especially, setting speed umatched in Bulgaria. I really would prefer him to be in the NT and not out, don't forget he has more experience than Bratoev. Bratoev sometimes has brilliant ideas, but he loses his head often

@raylight: You speak only the truth about Bratoev, yes. Zhekov does have more experience than him and really fast balls among the wing spikers. Noone can argue about that. His setting to zones 4, 2 and 1 is impressive nevertheless I can not change my opinion of his attitude towards middle blockers. For a fact you can almost never see him play a MB on a counter attack unless the ball is impossible to set forward or backwards. The same situation is when the score is really tight at the end of the set, everybody knows that he will not risk playing a MB. So the opposite MB have an easier choice to make, either zone number 4 or 2/1.
