i agree with Someone for me the best is Stanley but for somebody the best can be Kazyiski, Wlazły, Grozer, Ball, Grbić, Dante, Giba, Murilo, Priddy, Conte, Yudin, Akhrem, Agamez, Sergio, Nikolov, Leal, Leon, Simon, Omrcen, Stokr, Abdalla, Esko, Oivanen, Schops, Veres, Savani, Zaytsev, Parodi, Vermiglo, Fei, Shimizu, Maio, Bontje, Kurek, Bartman, Zagumny, Ignaczak, Jose, Soto, Volkov, Mikhaylov, Verbov, Milijković, Falasca, Gladyr, Priddy, Depestele, Raphael, Marshall, Bjelica. Everybody has an opinion about the best players. It is hard to measure who is the best :)

Hanes said right think: Matey is ONE OF the best players of the world and he definitely has potential to be for example MVP of Olympics but please dont said Kaziyski is better than Juantorena, Juantorena is better than Murilo, Murilo is better than Kurek etc.

I dont fight vs facts, i just fight vs your subjective rate of player. If your rate was always ,,facts" Bulgaria should be dominator.

Matey is one of he most explosive players in the world by my opinion when he uses it and is in a good form:)Btw Kurek is amazing!

Saku, only stupid man can make quailifications to others and judge them. I write arguments without direct insults. And qwerty used irony to fight against arguments with it, which is not a clever act. See how I didn't qualify the man, and only the act? This is called act of reasoning About explosivenes, I admitted that this is the disputable statement in my thesis, but I still think Kaziyski has faster hand than Kurek and explodes with jump when he is in form, like against Kazan.

Bacause kaziyski i think one in. His career served over 130

Someone, I do think that Kurek is much improved. Very strong player, especially in block is visible how hard he is been working. The serve is improved, but needs more consistency. Anastazi is doing a lot of work with your players. I would love to have him in Bulgarian team next to Kaziyski, he will be much more stable than Aleksiev, who can kill Russia in one match and be killed by under 200 cm players in another. Zyta, I told I should marry you, but I am already with my beloved Diana, I hope that won't break your heart and we will be friends. Zyta come on... Middle blocker's way of spiking is totally different then recevier's... Do you really think that Matey would be better spiker as middle blocker then Todorov? I honestly don't think so. Still... they are both spiking and that's why we shouldn't be saying that one or the other is the best spiker 'cause it doesn't make any sense :]

To be honest I think Matey Kaziyski is the best player in the world.

Bartosz Kurek is still making a progress. I remamber when you said two years ago that he would never be a world class player. I think now he is on the top- he is a top scorer of the WL2011- it isn't by a chance.

@vtnklmdc oby tylko wszyscy byli zdrowi i w formie, a myślę że nie jest to nierealne marzenie. A tak na marginesie to jakby popatrzeć na USA to w 2007 mieli brązowy medal w lidze światowej, rok później ją wygrali i jeszcze w tym samym roku zdobyli złoty medal Igrzysk Olimpijskich. My na razie mamy brąz na lidze światowej, w przyszłym roku jest Olimpiada. Widzicie pewien wzór? :>

'The best' is wrong statement because it's not measurable, but one of the best is correct cause there is a group of players outstanding from the regulars on their position. And by saying 'the same class' I meant characteristic of a player, it may be wrongly used.

Well you can't say Matey is the best spiker in the world... He's great but I wouldn't dare to say he's the best. What makes him better spiker then Todorov for example? They both have incredible reach and they are strong (Matey is stronger ofc). They can attack on great %. You simply can't say that someone is the best spiker because comparing middle blockers and recievers (for example) is totaly pointless while in fact they are both spiking :) Am I wrong? :P No offence - just my statement

Oh and Ron Zwerver was much better than Kurek and Kaziyski ever will be ;)

This discussion sucks. Discussing which players are the best is a fun activity done by fans, not science.

What I said were measurable and measured facts. I don't see why everyone should get so emotional here. About explosiveness, this is the only statement, that can be disputed, since it is not measured as far as I know. Matey reaches higher than Kurek, serves at over 130 km/h, therefore is more powerful. I didn't say Kurek is not strong player, he is strong, the best spiker for Poland and one of the best young players together with Maxim Mikhaylov, Tsvetan Sokolov, Facundo Conte, Earvin Ngapeth and Leon Wilfredo Venero. When someone says true statements and someone else like qwrt... tries to mock him about that, he is clearly a nationalist. Did I say "Bulgarian players are the best"? Or did you think that I said it because of stating true facts for Kaziyski, Todorov or other players? IF you can't bare that for example Todorov jumps 120 cm or that Aleksiev is good blocker, it is your problem, racist. I never said that Todorov is the best player, or that Aleksiev is the best spiker, because this is not true. What is true is that in form Matey is the best spiker in the World (what racist true statement), Todorov is one of the best blockers (who needs much to learn, btw), and Aleksiev is one of the most unstable players of the world. Facts. Kurek is very good player, you can be proud of him, I would have been on your place. That's nothing to do with your opinion that Polish players are the best in the world, a supreme race and that Kaziyski is not allowed to be so good that someone from Poland to be worse. Or may be I am not allowed to be happy with my players when they perform well or to be happy with their qualities? Only you can be happy?

I dont like say that one player is better than other etc. We CANT said who is the best player in the world, we just can said who was better in single match or tournament. In one tournament Murilo was the best and someone say he is the best player. In another Mikhailov play better and what? Now Murilo isnt the best? There is group of world class player and all depend of disposition of day. THERE ISNT THE BEST PLAYER OF THE WORD AND DONT COMPARE PLAYERS WITH SAME CLASS!!!

Reach is not everything :) Like Andre Nascimento was better than Vissotto who is bigger and catches the ball higher but wasn't as efficient as Andre.

And you forgot about Alexiev he's great spiker, did you see this https://volleybox.net/todor-aleksiev-block-m1364? We are talking about oh but Teodor Todorov has bigger range than Kurek. Ofc important is great set by Andrey Zhekov. BTW Bulgaria is favorite in ECH 2011 and this time for sure will win

Kurek improved a lot, but his serve is still unstable. Kaziyski has more height in attack and is more explosive and powerful, but Kurek is canon too :)

For me he is now one of the best spikers in the world, the same class player like Kaziyski with very efficient spike and powerfull serve (he improved alot this WL) but weak reception. Only difference between them is experience and coolness in tough moments of Kaziyski, Bartek needs to work on the last thing.
