Great action, probably the best in World Champs 2014. Both teams showed determination in defense. Great digs presented by Canadian libero Daniel Lewis. After a thrilling ending and astonishing defences, the third set was finished 29:27 for the Brazilians. Lucas led Brazil with 15 points, while Gavin Schmitt was Canada and match's top scorer with 18 points. Canadians still have chances to go to the 3rd round in their last match against Germany. Canada Coach Glenn Hoag said: "Congratulations to Brazil for excellent match. They played as we expected them to play. They played on very high technical level. Small details were the key like mistakes in the most important actions and in the crucial moments. We still need to improve some skills. We need to focus on tomorrow's match against Germany."
