Poland - Macedonia (Highlights)

On Friday the Former Y.R. of Macedonia won against the hosts of Poland 3:2 in the first of two matches on schedule for the last round of action in Group A of the European League. The hosts of the upcoming Final Four entered the match as the second-placed team in the Group and without having to fight for a spot in the last stage of the competition for which they are pre-qualified. The Former Y.R. of Macedonia, on the other hand, still has a chance of getting into the finals. Andrzej Kowal, head coach of Poland, said: "I’m not too happy with our performance. We made too many own errors in the game and I know that we can show something better, even while keeping it easy on players like Szymon Romac, who have played a lot till now and need to rest a little before the Final Four. We’re preparing for the finals, but we want to show good Volleyball here as well".
