Polish Cup 2008 Highlights

AZS Częstochowa is the winner of Polish Cup 2008. AZS won 3:1 in the final game with Jastrzębski Węgiel. AZS Częstochowa not be missing in the next year in Champions League. Really in the diameter of the entire season we played well and we proved today, above all ourselves, that victory in the CEV Cup with Iskra Odincovo hadn't been a matter of chance. Then we played well and today our game looked the same. I am pleased that we got the Cup of Poland," said Piotr Gacek after the match. AZS Częstochowa won the Cup after ten years. Pawel Woicki received MVP and bonus 10 000 PLN (over 3000 $). Best server: Marcin Wika, Best spiker: Brook Billings, Best receiver: Dawid Murek and Best libero: Piotr Gacek. Other awarded players received 5 000PLN (over 1500$).
