Ricardo is widely considered to be one of the best setters of all time, mainly for his ability to manipulate the opposing teams blockers and create easy hitting opportunities for his attackers. Along with Brazilian Head Coach Bernardo Rezende, Ricardo is credited with creating the fast paced offense including extremely quick back row attacks and fast paced sets to all positions on the court. This offense has been adopted by all major international teams and is consistently used at the highest levels today. Although Ricardo is widely considered one of the greatest setters, many experts have questioned his 'natural athleticism'. Ricardo was born in São Paulo. In 2004, he was part of the Brazilian team which won the gold medal in the Olympic tournament. He played all eight matches. In 2007 he was dismissed from the team, reportedly because of contention with other team members.

Na pewno najlepszy rozgrywajacy swiata jesli chodzi o rozwiazania niekonwencjonalne, idealnie wspolpracowal z owczesna reprezentacja...nic mu nie ujmujac uwazam ze najlepszy jest mimo wszystko Zagumny...Ricardo nie gral takich super zagran w klubie...Zagumny zdecydowanie ma lepszy blok i wie co robi:) BTW great setter...

przyjmujacy dzięki bardzo z góry. A tak wgl to fajnie , że jesteś z Kielc może się kiedyś na meczu farta spotkamy. :)

Wg mnie Ricardo najlepiej rozgrywa, ale w przeciwieństwie do Grbicia nie posiada bloku, co również jest bardzo ważne:P

Filmik nawet fajny :) Ale trochę słaba jakość i mi się troszkę przycinał. A Ricardo na pewno jest w piątce najlepszych rozgrywających na świecie.

Drewson4 Ciężko Ci będzie znaleźć coś o Holandii, tym bardziej ,że ona nie wiele znaczy na arenie światowej. Pamiętam,że miałem strone, z meczami wielu reprezentacji, być może o "pomarańczowych" też coś tam było, powinienem znaleźć, i wieczorem podesłać adres. ps. Myślę ,że Ricardo jest lepszym rozgrywającym od Grbicia, na pewno różnym od niego.

PS: I totally agree with Renan, the 02:49 moment was the best set ever, I was thinking of that before the video starts...

Spokojnie Kevinpsb nie denerwuj się :P Pisałem tylko żeby fajnie to wyglądało jak akcje były by do końca nagrane. Przykład takiego filmu w którym akcje są do końca zostawione to film o Hierezuelo.

Kevinpsb ma racje, film o rozgrywającym, to mamy to co on potrafi robić z piłką, jak rozgrywa, a nie tylko ataki.

Mateusz2008... Nie zostawiłem akcji do końca bo to film o Ricardo a nie o akcjach z udziałem Ricardo. Osoba która jest w mniejszym stopniu zainteresowana siatkówką prawdopodobnie zwracałaby większą uwagę na wykończenie wyłożonej akcji niż na rozegranie. Przy okazji mojego filmu o innym Brazylijczyku pisałem że w filmach o rozgrywających będę się starał zamieścić akcję które pokażą umiejętności i siatkarski kunszt tylko i wyłącznie rozgrywającego. Po za tym jak chcesz zobaczyć wykończenie tych akcji to możesz poczekać na moje filmy o Dante i Gibie albo zajrzeć w filmy Chrisona (Giba, Dante) lub Saku, który zrobił film o Andre Nascimento.

Szkoda że nie zostawiłeś akcji do końca, ale i tak filmik mi się podoba. Szkoda że już go nie ma w reprezentacji, po tym jak pisali w mediach że jest możliwy jego powrót miałem nadzieje że tak będzie, niestety tak się nie stało. Obecna Brazylia to już nie ta sama co za czasów Ricardo.

If he played in Beijing, Brazil national team probably would win the gold Olympic medal. He can set amazing ball in counter-attack. I hope to Ricardo will come back to national team, because I like watching matches when he is in a pitch. In my opinion Ricardo, Zagumny, Ball and Esko are the best setters in the world and I think it's dificult to say who is the best of this bunch?
