Russia - USA (full match)

The fourth match between Russia and USA in this year's edition of World League. Russia comes back with fire after the loss in the first match. They won in that match in three sets. The hosts totally dominated the backcourt with excellent digs of Alexey Verbov. The best scorer was Dmitriy Ilinykh with 15 points. In group B, as many as three teams still retains a chance to advance to the Final Six (USA, Russia and Serbia). After second match between USA and Bulgaria, coach of Andrey Voronkov said: "USA were not able to cope with our serving and block today, we dominated in attack and played almost without errors. These two tight matches made us stronger". USA coach John Speraw added: "We had a very emotional match yesterday and we could not bring the same focus and energy to the match today. I should admit Russia were much stronger today and we did not manage to beat them".
