South Korea - Japan (SET 1,2)

Japan prevailed over Korea with 3:1 (25:20, 20:25, 25:21, 25:19). Masahiro Yanagida and Kunihiro Shimizu contirbuted to the victory with respectively 21 and 20 points scored. Japan claimed their second victory in Group D while Korea is still at the bottom. Korea coach Moon Yong-Kwan said: "Japan has great basic skills and I ordered strong service. But we made too many errors and Japan’s concentration was nice. Korea's players’ condition was excellent but they felt too much burdensome because they were defeated by Japan in 2014 Asian Games. I feel responsibility about the defeat today".
