After losing at away against Exprivia Molfetta, Trentino Volley won with very strong team of Calzedonia Verona in the 17th round of Serie A. With this home win in the derby of Alto-Adige region, in front of 2,687 spectators, Trento is on the 2nd place in the ranking. Matey Kaziyski led Trentino’s scorers with 18 points while Martin Němec had 16 points. As the team, the host had much better attack - 58% of effectiveness. Mitja Gasparini was the only player with double digits in Verona (11 points). Sam Deroo scored 9 points.

Gasparini served very good this match, but it wasn't enough. Lanza was good only on serve today, Matey spiked much better because he had enough time to rest. Nemez killed a lot on serve and block. Sole was good too. It was easier than expected.
