Zenit Kazan has lost with Belogorye (ex name Lokomotiv Belgorod), who left all energy in this match and not succeed in the rest games. As one commentator said "The teams has destoyed each other". Unfortunately there is a lack of fans in Kazan new stadium. Volleyball is great, but there is not enouth attention to it. But all of russian fans watched games on TV or internet.
I would play as a setter for Brasilian NT to share emotions with such amazing players as Giba, Dante, Murilo and Sergio. Their spirit is enormous!!! They just live for play.
In club level I would play with Trento to see great players like Juantorena, Kaziysky & Co. They always play in the highest level.

I recommend to use knee pads to safe game. Sometimes you need to dig the ball standing on your knee on the floor, or to dive for a ball. It's much more comfortable to keep the knees healthy. Moreover, kneepads make knees warmer, that helps to warmup quicker.
Of course, they can't increase your vertical jump (unfortunately), but help you to be in good shape during the game.
Congratulations to all russian team fans!!! We did it. Fantastic cubans were stoped. To be honest, they didn't impress me at all this time. May be they left all their eagerness to win in previous two battles? Anyway, russians are the best (may be after brasilians). Good luck for all the teams!
Tomorrow will be a great match Cuba-Russia. After all it will be clear who dominate in WC2011. Cuba's results are enormous. I did'nt expect them to win over Brasil. The best score I wanted 2:3 to Brasil, but they have surprised me a lot (especially without Simon and Leal). I hope our team will be able to win at least 3:1 tomorrow. Luckily cubans are very tired after this match and probably don't have time to recover. But anyway CONGRATULATIONS to Cuba!!! BTW could anyone upload the match Cuba-Brasil? I had not chance to see it online and now result only by live scoring system. I am sure that match was shocking $-)
I feel sorrow about Russian loss of 1 set in match with Egypt. The final ranking may be very surprising and several teams will be close in results. So every set is valuable.
I am sorry to admit that Brasil was much better than Russia. Serving was terrible, 1st tempo's are poor, digging even worse. Rivals were just great!!! Strong spirit and great motivation. Giba surprised me as always. To be in such a good shape in his age, it's something. Hope that our guys will learn from this match, forget about negative experience and beat all the rest teams. We need the place in OG!

Congratulations to Russian National Team. Our guys were the BEST!!! Beeing losing 3-d set 23-18 they have won it! Fantastic!!! USA team was good, but Alehno has analysed their manner to play carefully and succeded. Our defense was surprisingly good (thanks to Tetyuhin and Budko) and there played THE TEAM, not just players. Hope to beat Brasil the day after tomorrow, though their team is amazing. We believe in our guy! Come on, qualify for Olimpics now. And good luck!
My congratulations to Serbia. They really deserve to be the Champions. Russian team was good, but serbians beeing not so technically gifted were stronger in mind, very confident and never gave up. Their fast attacks, great defense and unpredictable setting brought success. And Ivan of course was great, a real leader. Our commentators called him "an icebreaker". Serbian wing spikers were great too.
Italy was good, especially Mastrangelo and Zaytsev, Savani but they were not so strong in mind to take the win.
Anyway these mathes were great. Thans a lot for all the players!!!
Congratulations to Russian team, coaches and fans. We do deserve this big VICTORY. Our young players made a great progress in game with so amazing team like Brasil. They played great, but ours played better ;-)
I hope that final title of medal ceremony "To be continued...".
Good luck for both treams!!!

Ex-setter of USSR NT Konstantin Ushakov in contract with Kuzbass (Kemerovo). His former club was Dynamo Krasnodar (this team won 1/4 final with Iskra. Iskra was on 1-st place, Dynamo on 8-th !!!)
