saku, thanks! I read his interview last year, but thought you can use him in Olympics
question for our polish friends: will wlazly play?
qsek, I think Poltavskiy is still hurting. Back injury.
HCLT: "maybe" is the key word :-)))
HCLT, my favorite player is Lloy Ball :-). I compare any setter to him :-).
Grankin looked very good against Monza and in the first game against Iskra (the one he got the red card in ;-). Butko is taller, which makes him a better blocker. Both suffer from psy-factor though. Grankin starts playing his own game, and Butko is very readable - doesn't play with centers at all. And I don't think the story with knee injury is over for Grankin. As for Pavlov, only one player, who changes nationality is allowed by the rules, and Butko obviously is needed more
@Aelinn, thanks! just read here (in transfers) another rumor about Skra and Bruno
Russian forums are buzzing that Skra is after Grankin. Confirmations? Or denials?
I really think you shouldn't cry, guys. Skra got into the final four without any competition (on the women's side, however, Azeri teams were not awarded that luxury). Hawk-eye is used only for the lines (like in tennis). That's why Mikhailov never got his challenge, for example. And anything as subtle as this episode is impossible to catch by human eye, no matter how good of a ref you are.
Verbov admitted in after match interview, that their side started the brawl. i don't think Alekno will ever take Spiridonov back on a team. as for Grankin, russian vb forums are buzzing that Skra is after him... Any confirmations of this? (or denials?)
