@kristoff: You do twist the facts. Read the rules. Can you do that? It's simple. Brazil and Russia playing 2 days in a row. The rules were changed to benefit Poland. Pretend you don't know, pretend you have a great team. You should be ashamed like I was in 2010. Keep pretending you deserve, maybe it's good for you, if it makes you feel better.

@kristoff: It’s funny how you twist the facts to favor your thoughts. Poland was playing in the same place from the second round. Brazil was the first in their group and had to move from another city. Brazil should have stayed as they were first place. Also playing alternate days was a prerogative of the first placed teams, which means France and Brazil. The French got that, Brazil didn’t. Why? Because the Poles cheated. Russia has 2 injuries, Brazil has 3 injuries. The Poles changed the schedule to make these teams play 2 days in a row and have no time to recover.
What great team have Poland played in 1st and 2nd phase? When you played France both teams were qualified and there were mainly substitutes on the court. Everybody saw that Italy and USA were a mess. We lost Zaytsev. USA was a pale shade. Iran is alive because Mr. Velasco gave them a help. You should keep twisting things, maybe you will feel better.
Italy in 2010? It was a shame. Poland saw that and apparently didn’t learn or maybe they liked it. I know how to lose and I don’t make excuses. Italy didn’t deserve to win in 2010, Poland doesn’t deserve to win now, your team has no such great qualities. Struggling to beat Brazil without Murilo, with Wallace injured, with a help from Fonteles horrible passing. I remember your team struggling to beat a confuse Italian team without Zaytsev. I don’t know if Brazil can beat Russia again. If they lose, I hope Russia show their power in the finals. Or maybe France, like I said before.

Italy lost to USA B, France and Korea, Russia lost 3 times in a row to Cuba and Brazil lost to Poland and Canada. Do you really think that Brazil, Russia and Italy took those defeats for real? Do you think Brazil cares about Poland or Russia fears Cuba? Don’t make me laugh. Look at the Olympics, who was on the podium? Where was Poland? Busy losing to Australia. You should read again eRKa. Alix said he was “happy when Brazil and Italy destroyed” USA dreams. Italy kicked USA out of the men’s tournament in quarterfinal and Brazil beat then in the final again in the women’s competition. Maybe you forgot but Italy gave no chance to USA and defeated them in 3 sets in men’s competition in London. USA beat Brazil in first phase (Brazil never play regularly in first phase) but was eliminated by Italy while Brazil won a medal. It was clear the American team couldn’t win a medal in London. Poland beat Italy but it was clear Poland was going to fail, while Italy won a medal. Bulgaria was a good surprise. Russia had the best team. In women’s tournament USA was favorite this time but Brazil, just like in Beijing, defeated the Americans again and it was easy. Jose Roberto Guimaraes, the coach of Brazil became the first coach with 3 gold medals and the only to win with men and women (I still dream he will move to Italy to train our girls and give us the titles we deserve). I understend your euphoria for USA defeating Brazil as the Brazilians always made Poland look really bad, but the Americans, which volleyball I admire, don’t have as many titles as Brazil, no matter if among men or women. Besides my national team I like Brazil, USA and Russia, they play beautiful volleyball. There is no professional volleyball in USA like the other person said, but they have a strong university league and their principal players go abroad to play in the best leagues. Playing in the best leagues and having a strong begginning as a junior in university make the Americans good. They also have a training center totally dedicated to volleyball.
