Henrique, que eu me lembre, nos últimos 2 anos nenhuma selecção portuguesa em masculino foi ao Brasil, mas sei que antes iam :) Em feminino, as séniores, que muitas delas nascerem em 1991 e 1992 (aliás, se não me engano, a mais velha nasceu em 1985, mas não tenho a certeza) foram ao Brasil estagiar uma semana :) Nós temos cá muitos jovens promissores, mas muitos deles são baixos para jogar numa A1 portuguesa, o que é pena :s

henriqueCTL- é verdade o que disseste à cerca do Chico dos santos, tive a oportunidade de ver alguns estágios e ele trouxe um nova filosofia que ainda estava muito no inicio. depois com o orlando samuels demos um grande salto em nivel qualitativo, formando o nuno pinheiro, evidenciando o flavio cruz que depois foi para o piacenza, o hugo gaspar que segui para o treviso, o joao josé, andré lopes, carlos teixeira, entre outros. em 2002 ficamos em quinto no campeonato do mundo jogando com o nuno pinheio que somente tinha 17 anos!!! por falar nele, quero trazer um video dele para aqui:D

If i am selected, i'm going to Portugal in the summer for the national schoolsteam championship for the FISEC volleyball games! :d And last year, the Portuguese team was surprisly good, so they have some young talented players over there.. ;)

In Portugal we have a serious problem, is that there are professional coaches. Soon there is a development of volleyball in the young. for me the best coaches should not be in the seniors but the junior! The level of volleyball has been rising in the youth, because I speak from experience since the game six years throughout the country as federated. another reason for no development is that the clubs do not bet on the juniors of their own club! those players who can come up to the championship will be promising no interest or they are in senior but never play! THAT IS OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUTH COATS! and in this video we see at least part of the team's green two young athletes from the youth of Portuguese clubs. able for the first time this year to put two players selected to play in junior twente from Holland! joachim7 I know you were not saying this for evil, nor did he say that! here all have the same feeling, LOVE VOLLEYBALL AND THE DESIRE TO OBTAIN THE VOLLEYBALL SHOW!: D

I understand all of you and I didn't want to be agressive.I was just a little surprise because it is second division so I tought it'd be better ;-) But of course I also want to see improvement in countries like Canada or the african ones =) Concerning Portugal I think they already have a good NT who won the european league last year but they need to improve their league level because they only have a few good players and they probably have talented players who can't develop because they need to go abroad to improve their skills ;-)

I understand, but this is a Second Division Game! :) Here in Portugal there are few professional teams, maybe 5 or 6, I don't know. The others are semi-pro or amateur. Unfortunately we don't have much money :s. Most of the people prefers football, and the other sports won't get much attention --'
