Thanks to the serve from Dirk Westphal, locals leveled much of the loss account (14:13) and fought hard with rivals, so this period ended on a point difference (26:28). In the second set, hosts set the tone of the game - 7:3, 19:15 - and confidently won it by 25:19. The next two sets, as exciting as the previous ones, were resolved in the favor of Resovia who won maximum points in this match. Nikolay Penchev scored 16 points and Piotr Nowakowski 14 points. In Radom, Bartłomiej Bołądź was unstoppable with 21 points.
