Qatar League: Al Arabi edge defending champions Al Rayyan

Al Arabi Club defeated defending champions Al Rayyan Club in five sets during their Qatar League match in Doha on Saturday.

The winners staged a valiant comeback after losing the first two sets.

Al Arabi looked in their elements in the fourth set that they clinched one-sided before completing 23-25, 22-25, 25-23,  25-14 & 15-10 victory, Their ninth in 10 matches.

For Al Rayyan, This was their third loss in 10 matches. Police (26 points) stay on the top of the table with the same number of wins but their qoutient is better than second-placed Al Arabi (25 points).

Al Ahli Club and El Jaish are holding third and forth spots ahead of Al Rayyan (23 points each).
