Faster than imaginable? I guess Argentina has never seen Brazil play. I think you mean unexpected. Other than that, it was too far off the net. But if the opponent isn't expecting it then that's whats most important.

Can't argue with you when you say that losing block and smart plays aren't a reason to call him a genius. So tell me what makes Ricardo and Ball such a geniuses? Cause apart from these two traits they have nothing special.

Everybody has his opinion and I don't want to go with this further. In my opinion Zagumny in 2006, 2008, 2009 was in the top setters. And about his genius it is not only setting which you don't agree but also situational balls on the net. In all these years you can count on the fingers of one hand how many duels on the net he lost.

Idi is very fast, but he don't have jump and power spike:)

European teams have this treat that players are based on their strength and spike reach. To compare to Brazilians they are really slow. In this season Idi plays for our team in Polish League and I must say that he is very fast and dynamic which I like, he moves like 30% faster than other players. You can't know if Zagumny can't set as fast as Ricardo cause they play with different players. By the way I have just noticed that Idi plays with Zagumny in the same team. They played only one match together so we will see how their cooperation will go further.

Henrique remind us how FIVB has chosen the best setter? Cause you write about it like there was something wrong about it. Zagumny is in top of the setters and that is a fact. Ricardo, Ball, Zagumny and maybe Grbic are comparable.

Who wrote that Winiarski is the best in the world? This is just ridiculous. Winiarski was one of the best in the world in 2006-2008. Slowly return to form after injury. Zagumny should not get awards in the WL 07 . You're right. But at the WC 06 and the Olympics deserves the most. I do not consider Zagumny to be the best setter in the world. Ricardo is right for me the best. But I do not agree with that Zagumny it is much worse than Grbic and Ball. They all represent a close, high level. Yeah, Roninho you are right! Zagumny play in polish NT, because his father pay for it every year. Sorry, I forgot :(

Okay. Let's end this discussion. Zagumny was the best setter the world championships 2006 because he was a Polish and poorly played. In 2008. was the best setter Olympics because he is a Polish, and is weak. In 2009 he was the best setter the European Championship because he is a Polish, and is weak. People from the FIVB Zagumny favor because he is a Polish and that is yet weak.

I don't agree with you. He is a genius and he is world-class setter. Everyone who is intrested in volleyball can say that. Every volleyball expert. And this set was perfect, not to low, not to quick. It came out as it has to be

It's very good set, but he can better. HenriqueCLT-Nagor watches volleyball and he makes great volleyball movies:D

watch the related video, Ricardo Garcia fantastic set. These 2 sets really cannot be compared, and the one by Ricardo wasn't even the best set in the world.

What a set! The best set I have ever seen! Perfect, quick ball! Amazing! Henrique, Argentina is to low to have block in actions like this.

Well I think it was very effective, because playing against a team like Poland you're expecting very high sets on transition. Zagumny made a good connection with Winiarski... If this was Ricardinho and Giba, how else would they do it?

Rarely do you see set on a clean grid of 3 meters.

I don't get how this is fantastic. Nothing wrong with it.. just don't see why its considered fantastic.
