Three times Champion of the Regional Games, twice champion of the Open Games and state champion of São Paulo. Maurício has also won the São Paulo Cup, placed second in the South American Club Championship. In the Superliga 12/13, the middle blocker played very well for Vivo/Minas (MG), and finished the season as the best blocker in the competition. The good performances drew the attention of Bernardinho, who called him for the national team in 2013.
