Italy - USSR (EuroVolley 1991 Final)
Soviet Union won their 12th title of European Champion. Two months ago USSR lost with Cuban team in the semi-final of World League 1991 Final Four played in Milan. Italy won that tournament (they won 8 of 11 editions in years 1990-2000, Russia didn't win even once). In the last 38th match of EuroVolley 1991 played in Berlin Soviet Union coached by magician: Vyacheslav Platonov was the best. Look at legends of Russian volleyball: Dmitry Fomin and Ruslan Olikhver. proud ·Full match: Trentino Volley - Zenit Kazan in Club World Championship 2011. Trento won that game in four sets. Vladimir Alekno (coach of Zenit Kazan) said: "There's not much left to say. The Italians have an incredibly strong team, and are just difficult to play against. I wish them good luck in tomorrow's final". Matey Kaziyski (wing-spiker of Trentino Volley): It's a great victory. We're very satisfied with our performance of today. Our team spirit and determination to win was great. We had our difficulties, but we managed to keep control and win this match. Tomorrow we'll play against the Polish team (Jastrzebski Wegiel), another strong team. They have really impressed me in this competition. We have to be careful and give all we have left to win this match".14 5636

Trentino Volley - Jastrzębski Węgiel (Doha 2011)
Trentino Volley has now won three consecutive FIVB Men’s Club World Championships, including 15 straight matches in the event since 2009. All three championships have been won in Doha. Six Trentino Volley players: Matey Kaziyski, Osmany Juantorena, Tsvetan Sokolov, Łukasz Żygadło, Andrea Bari and Raphael Vieira de Olivieira - have been a part of all three titles, while Jan Stokr, Massimo Colaci and Dore Delle Lunge were part of last year’s championship. Jan Stokr scored 21 points for Trentino, while the team’s captain Matey Kaziyski scored 20 points. Nice match of Michal Lasko, who scored 19 points for Polish club. On the pree conference Bernardi (coach of Jastrzębie) said: "Unfortunately we weren't able to win this final, but we've have shown some real quality volleyball in the two matches before. We've won against Zenit Kazan and Sesi Sao Paulo, which are two of the biggest teams in the world. So I think we can be very happy with our team's performance in this championship.
